8) Dumbo Octopus remains one of my favorite pieces because in many ways, it was a huge breakthrough piece for me in terms of figuring out what I enjoy drawing and how I like to use light.

22) A-augh, too many to list.  I guess the strongest are probably from Golden Age Illustration, so Kay Nielsen, Edmund Dulac, and Arthur Rackham.
